Good questions, quick answers
What is awaBerry?
awaBerry is a friendly app for families and home makers. It makes it easy to set up a Raspberry Pi (or a similar little computer) without a screen, and then reach it from your phone or laptop wherever you are.
Do I need cables, a monitor or a keyboard?
No. awaBerry is built for headless setup — you flash the SD card, power up the board, and it comes online on its own. Everything after that happens from the app.
Is it safe to open my devices from outside?
Yes. There are no open ports on your router and nothing is exposed to the internet. Your devices connect outward through an encrypted link, so there's nothing for strangers to find. Learn more about remote access →
